This Cardone product has size 5.000, UPC 884548212978, and SKU sku-108821986. OE references are 39101-Ja000 and 5012456AB. Proprietary engineering processes are used to meet O.E. form, fit, and function.
Neoprene boots have additional bellows when needed to resist the stress and cracking that lead to boot failure. Parts with an “HD” suffix are severe-duty applications with a thermoplastic outboard boot intended to last longer than a traditional neoprene boot. Each unit includes a new axle retaining nut because the original may be worn or stripped. Measurements are validated after assembly for fit.
Pneumatically crimped boot clamps seal the boot to the housing; the grease withstands high-temperature and high-torque demands. Precision-rolled splines help the axle fit the mating hub and transmission.
