No rating yet(0 ratings)CARDONE 66-5392 is a new front-left Cardone CV axle assembly, SKU sku-684080019, UPC 884548148086. It fits the listed Lexus CT200h 2017-11, Toyota Prius 2015-10, Prius Plug-In 2015-12 and Prius V 2017-12 applications. It is also listed for 2010-2017 Lexus and Toyota vehicles, with reference 43420-47031.
The axle is engineered for O.E. form, fit and function, with measurements checked after assembly. Its neoprene boots have additional bellows where needed to resist stress and cracking; CV axle part numbers ending in HD instead use a thermoplastic outboard boot for severe-duty applications.
Pneumatically crimped boot clamps seal against the housing, grease is specified for high-temperature and high-torque use, and rolled splines fit the mating hub and transmission. A new axle retaining nut is included because the original may be worn or stripped.
