CARDONE engineers its CV drive axles to meet O.E. form, fit and function. Neoprene boots have additional bellows where needed to resist stress and cracking. Part numbers with an “HD” suffix denote severe-duty applications and include a thermoplastic outboard boot. Each unit includes a new axle retaining nut.
Axle measurements are checked after assembly; boot clamps are pneumatically crimped to seal the boot to the housing. The grease is made for high temperatures and torque, and precision-rolled splines help the axle fit the hub and transmission.
