Part numbers with an HD suffix are for severe-duty applications and have a thermoplastic outboard boot. Each unit includes a new axle retaining nut.
Axle measurements are checked after assembly; boot clamps are pneumatically crimped, and the splines are precision rolled for fit in the hub and transmission. The grease is intended for high-temperature, high-torque use.
