The listing describes the housing as corrosion resistant and heat dissipating, the gears as wear resistant and quieter in use, and the rotor and brush as providing smooth electrical contact with the commutator. The package contains 1 rear wiper motor.

For installation, 1. disconnect the battery, remove the wiper arms and remove the cowl or liftgate panel unless an access cover is available; 2. unplug the motor, detach the linkage arm and remove the old motor, noting its orientation; 3. secure the new motor with mounting bolts without overtightening, then reconnect the linkage and electrical connector; 4. test the wipers before reassembly.

Replace a damaged motor if the wipers stick or make unusual noises.
