OE numbers are 5J9955711, 5J9955711A, 5J9955711B, 5J7955711, 5J7955711A, 5J7955711B, 5J7955711C, 064038005010 and 064038006010.

The electric motor moves wiper blades across the windscreen to clear rain, snow, dirt and debris. As it spins, its mechanism turns a gear and arm that move the blades. Its metal housing resists corrosion and dissipates heat; plastic inner gears reduce noise and resist wear.

Copper windings provide electrical conductivity and heat resistance, while the rotor and brush support contact with the commutator and reduce energy loss. These materials are intended to extend motor life. Installation: 1. Disconnect the battery, remove the wiper arms and remove the cowl or liftgate panel unless there is an access cover. 2.

Unplug the motor, detach the linkage arm and remove the old motor, noting its orientation. 3. Mount the new motor without overtightening the bolts, reconnect the linkage arm and plug in the connector. 4. Test the wipers before reassembly. The package contains 1 rear wiper motor. Replace a damaged motor promptly if the wiper sticks or makes unusual noises.
