DW DRKTX1C05AE043 Clear Unisex Shell Pack sku-27684482

DW DRKTX1C05AE043 is a Clear, Unisex Collector's Series 5-piece shell pack with a Broken Glass finish and chrome hardware, listed under Advanced Musical Instruments. The US-made North American maple shells have 3-ply reinforcement hoops. Toms from 8 to 13 inches have 6-ply shells; drums 14 inches and larger, including the bass drum, have 7-ply shells.

The rack toms use Vertical Low Timbre construction, with vertically oriented inner and outer plies to reduce shell tension. The 16-inch floor tom and kick also use X-Shell construction with vertically laminated inner plies. DW's STM mounts let the toms vibrate independently, and its True-Pitch rods use 5 mm threads rather than the usual 12/24.

The listing compares 1 thread every 0 8 mm, about 20% more threads, with 1 thread every 1 05 mm on other drums. The pack contains 10 x 8 and 12 x 9 inch rack toms, 14 x 14 and 16 x 16 inch floor toms, and a 24 x 18 inch kick. Snare, cymbals and hardware are sold separately. SKU: sku-27684482; UPC: 647139219783.
