The Black, Unisex DW DRKTX1C04AA040 is a Collector's Series 4-piece shell pack in Advanced Musical Instruments, listed as sku-773193151 with UPC 647139476674. This Black Ice Finish Ply kit has chrome hardware and North American hard rock maple shells. It includes an 8" x 10" rack tom, a 9" x 12" rack tom, a 14" x 16" floor tom and an 18" x 22" bass drum.

DW also describes the bass drum as 22" x 18". Developed and handbuilt in DW's California Custom Shop, the kit uses Specialized Shell Configuration (SSC) technology, with HVLT, VLT, X or VLX construction selected for each drum's size and tonal role. The maple shells produce warm lows, a crisp attack and resonant sustain.

True Pitch tuning rods, STM Suspension Mounts and bearing edges aid tuning and setup; True Hoops, STM mounts and bass drum spurs support playing stability. DW offers the series in lacquer, satin and exotic finishes.
