The patented ground electrode creates a larger spark nucleus to support ignition of lean fuel mixtures, more consistent combustion, throttle response, fuel efficiency and emissions purification. The plugs are designed to reduce misfires and erratic starts associated with poor fuel mixtures or soot buildup.
Each plug is 100 percent pre-fired, has a five-rib insulator to reduce flashover and voltage loss, and is claimed to last twice as long as a conventional plug.
