The ZOSI system streams, records, and lets you manage settings remotely using the ZOSI Smart App or AVSS Client. Intelligent person alerts: the AI human detection sends push notifications and email notices whenever a person is identified. Color night vision reaches up to 100ft to improve low-light identification. Configure custom detection zones to focus on the areas that matter most and reduce false alarms. Efficient storage with H.265+ compression preserves video quality while reducing file size so the 2TB drive stores more footage for longer. Continuous protection: this 4K kit supports up to eight cameras recording 24/7 for full coverage. Support and expandability: you may add additional compatible cameras (only ZOSI) — 8MP, 5MP, or 2MP PoE bullet or dome models — but the NVR accepts a maximum of 8 connected cameras. Note: This PoE NVR has limited support for certain ZOSI WiFi cameras that require an Ethernet cable connection; contact ZOSI customer support before adding a WiFi camera. How to obtain full 4K (8.0MP) output: (1) Use a 4K (3840 × 2160) or higher resolution TV/monitor and connect it to the NVR. (2) In the NVR go to Main Menu → Set up → Basic and manually change Video Output to 3840 * 2160. Important: the NVR’s default output is 1024 x 768; if your monitor’s resolution is below 4K, the system will not display 4K. Audio notes for NVR live view: audio is transmitted only when the monitor/TV is connected via HDMI — without HDMI the monitor/TV will not output sound. To adjust audio settings on the NVR, right-click → Main Menu → Set up → Audio to change volume and select the channel to play.
