Yakima 8004087 Black Fishing DoubleHaul sku-295865969
No rating yet(0 ratings)Yakima DoubleHaul Fishing rooftop fly rod carrier, model 8004087 (sku-295865969; UPC 736745040871), is Black and Unisex. Set its length to 11 feet or 6 feet to carry 4 fully strung-up fly rods up to 10 feet long. The top 2 reel slots fit most 12-weight reels, and the bottom 2 fit most 10-weight reels.
The reel box holds common fighting butts on single-handed rods and up to 2 spey rods in the upper slots. Its 4 separate, plastic-lined aluminum tubes keep rods apart and help prevent abrasion. Placing the reels to the side reduces wear on rod-stripping guides and eyelets, while custom-fitted felt padding protects the reels.
Universal mounting hardware fits all Yakima crossbars and most other roof racks. Included Yakima SKS (single key system) locks secure the rods inside the carrier and the DoubleHaul to the roof rack. The SmarT-Slot Kit 3, sold separately, attaches it to a T-slot crossbar for a sleeker profile. Crossbar spread: 27 to 108 inches. Material: Plastic. Dimensions (L x W x H): 131 x 15 x 9 inches.
Weight: 46.6 pounds. Manufacturer warranty: Limited-lifetime warranty.
