This CNC-machined, all-aluminum, large-arbor reel has 2+1 ball bearings, a 1:1 gear ratio and a one-way bearing that engages the click drag in one direction; retrieve is silent. The spool releases quickly, and the retrieve can be changed from left to right hand.
The line spool is described as preloaded with 100 feet of weight-forward fly line, 20lb orange backing at 50 yards, and a 9-foot tapered nylon leader. The listing also names 3/4, 5/6, 7/8 and 9/10WT reel options and a fly-line option described as having a reel that is not preloaded. Fly line colors listed are moss green, fluorescent Yellow and sky blue.
Designed for freshwater use, the reel should be opened and cleaned after saltwater use to help prevent corrosion of the one-way bearing. SKU: sku-18721560511. UPC: 763471214429.
