Designed for RV and marine systems that already have a battery charger or generator, it can provide power when shore power is unavailable. An automatic transfer switch responds to changes in generator or shore power. The detachable digital remote displays inverter output, AC source and battery voltage and can be mounted separately. Conformal-coated circuit boards help resist moisture.
The inverter can be mounted horizontally or vertically and connected through a terminal strip or the included GFCI receptacle. A built-in 15A circuit breaker protects loads on that receptacle; hardwired loads have up to 25A pass-through. Protection covers battery over-voltage and under-voltage, overheating, overloads, short circuits and ground faults.
The unit meets FCC Class B requirements and carries UL 458 certification.
