This sale is for the hard drive circuit board (PCB / logic board) only — the hard drive itself is NOT included. We maintain a large inventory, so the actual PCB shipped may differ slightly from the photo. This board is intended for use in hard drive repair and data recovery procedures. Before purchasing, confirm that replacing the PCB will resolve your issue by consulting our hard drive diagnostics guide, and verify compatibility using the Donor Matching Guide. Note: most hard drive PCBs contain unique data stored in a ROM (memory) chip; that data is required for correct drive operation. The ROM chip or its contents must be transferred to the replacement board or the new board must be reprogrammed with the correct ROM data. If chip transfer is feasible, a local computer technician can usually perform the task. For orders of $60 or more we include a complimentary adaptation service that covers either relocating the ROM chip to the new PCB or reprogramming the board with the proper ROM data.
