This listing is for the hard drive circuit board (PCB / logic board) ONLY — no hard drive is included. Because we stock a large number of these PCBs, the exact board you receive may differ slightly from the photo. Designed for hard drive repair and data recovery tasks. Before ordering, confirm that a replacement PCB is the correct fix by following our Hard Drive Diagnostics Guide, and verify compatibility using the Donor Matching Guide. Note: many hard drive PCBs contain unique data stored in a ROM "memory" chip that is required for the drive to operate properly. The ROM chip or its data must be transferred to the replacement board. If the ROM can be physically moved, a local computer technician should be able to perform that task. For customers spending $60 or more, we include complimentary adaptation service: either transplanting the ROM chip to the new PCB or reprogramming the replacement board with the correct ROM data.
