Because we maintain a large inventory, the exact PCB you receive may differ slightly from the photo. These PCBs are sold for hard drive repair and data recovery purposes. Most WD PCBs contain a unique ROM ("memory") chip whose data is required for correct drive operation; the ROM chip or its contents must be transferred to the replacement board.
