This sale is for the hard drive PCB (logic board) only — the hard drive itself is not included. Compatible with WD5000AAKX-08ANVA0 and 771640-113 AA. Because we maintain a large inventory, the exact printed circuit board you receive may differ slightly from the photo. Intended for use in hard drive repair and data recovery tasks. Many hard drive PCBs contain essential, unique data stored in a ROM memory chip; that information is required for correct drive operation. The ROM chip or its contents must be transferred to the replacement board. If you cannot perform the transfer yourself, a local computer technician can usually move the chip. For orders of $60 or more we include a complimentary adaptation service that either transfers the ROM chip to the new PCB or reprograms the replacement board with the correct ROM data.
