This sale is for the hard drive PCB (logic board) only — no hard drive is included. We maintain a large inventory, so the exact PCB you receive may differ slightly from the photo. This board is intended for data recovery or HDD repair use. Before purchasing, confirm a PCB replacement will resolve your issue by consulting our hard drive diagnostics guide, and verify compatibility using the Donor Matching Guide. Most hard drive PCBs contain unique configuration data in the ROM 'memory' chip; that ROM or its data must be transferred to the replacement board for the drive to operate correctly. If the ROM chip can be physically moved, a local computer technician can usually perform the transfer. For orders of $60 or more we offer a complimentary adaptation service that includes either moving the ROM chip to the new PCB or reprogramming the replacement board with the correct ROM data.
