This sale includes the hard drive circuit board (PCB / logic board) only — no hard drive is included. Because we stock a large number of these PCBs, the exact board you receive may differ slightly from the photograph.\n\nThe PCB is supplied for repair and data-recovery purposes. Before purchasing, verify that replacing the board will address your issue by following our hard drive diagnostics guide, and confirm compatibility using the Donor Matching Guide.\n\nNote: most hard drive circuit boards hold unique data in a ROM "memory" chip that is required for the drive to function correctly. The ROM chip or its data must be transferred to the replacement PCB, or the new board must be reprogrammed with the correct ROM contents.\n\nIf moving the ROM chip is necessary, a local computer technician can typically perform the transfer.
