This sale is for the hard drive circuit board (PCB / logic board) ONLY — no hard drive is included. Because we stock a large number of PCBs, the exact board you receive may differ slightly from the photo. These PCBs are intended for hard drive repair and data recovery work. Before ordering, confirm that a replacement PCB will solve your issue by following our hard drive diagnostics guide, and verify compatibility using the Donor Matching Guide. Most replacement boards contain a ROM memory chip with drive-specific data that is essential for proper operation; that ROM or its contents must be transferred to the new circuit board or the new board must be reprogrammed with the correct data. If you cannot transfer the chip yourself, a local computer technician should be able to perform the transfer. For purchases of $60 or more we include a complimentary adaptation service which covers either moving the ROM chip to the new PCB or reprogramming the replacement board with the correct ROM data.
