This sale is for the hard drive circuit board (PCB / logic board) ONLY — the hard drive is not included. Because we stock a large number of compatible PCBs, the exact board you receive may differ slightly from the photo. Intended use: data recovery or repair of a WD 3.5" SATA drive. Before ordering, confirm a PCB swap will resolve your problem by following our Hard Drive Diagnostics Guide and verify compatibility using the Donor Matching Guide. Most WD PCBs store unique service data in a ROM memory chip; that ROM (or its contents) must be transferred to the replacement board for the drive to function correctly. If the ROM chip can be physically moved, a local computer technician can typically perform the transplant. For orders of $60 or more we include a complimentary adaptation service — we will either移植 the ROM chip to the new PCB or reprogram the replacement board with the correct ROM data.
