This sale includes the hard drive circuit board (PCB / logic board) only — the hard drive is not included. Because we stock a large number of PCBs, the exact board you receive may differ slightly from the photo. Intended use: data recovery and hard drive repair. Before purchasing, verify that a replacement PCB will resolve your issue by following our hard drive Diagnostics Guide, and confirm compatibility using the Donor Matching Guide. Important: many PCBs store unique information in the ROM "memory" chip; that data is required for the drive to function correctly. The ROM chip or its contents must be transferred to the replacement board. If possible, the ROM chip can be physically moved to the new PCB — a local computer technician should be able to perform this. For customers with orders of $60 or more, we provide a complimentary adaptation service that includes either transferring the ROM chip to the new PCB or reprogramming the new board with the correct ROM data.
