This sale is for the hard drive circuit board (PCB / logic board) only—no hard drive is included. Because we stock a large number of PCBs, the exact board you receive may vary slightly from the photo. Intended use: data recovery and hard drive repair. Before purchasing, verify that a replacement PCB will resolve your issue by using our hard drive diagnostics guide and confirm compatibility with the Donor Matching Guide. Most hard drive PCBs store unique configuration data in a ROM memory chip that is required for the drive to function correctly. That ROM chip or its contents must be transferred to the replacement board. If the ROM can be moved, a qualified local computer technician can perform the transfer. For orders of $60 or more we include a complimentary adaptation service which covers either transplanting the ROM chip onto the new PCB or reprogramming the replacement board with the correct ROM data.
