Listing is for the hard drive printed circuit board (PCB / logic board) ONLY — no hard drive included. We carry a large quantity of PCBs, so the actual board you receive may differ slightly from the pictured item. This PCB is intended for hard drive repair and data recovery work. Many hard drive PCBs contain unique configuration data stored in a ROM "memory" chip; this information is required for correct drive operation. The ROM chip or its data must be moved to the replacement circuit board. If the chip can be transferred, a local computer technician will typically be able to perform the task. For purchases of $60 or more, we provide a complimentary adaptation service that includes either transplanting the ROM chip onto the new PCB or reprogramming the replacement board with the correct ROM data.
