UV Protector Filter for Pentax HD Pentax-D FA 24-70mm f/2.8ED SDM WR — Absorbs UV, Reduces Blue Cast, Lens Protection

Made for the Pentax HD Pentax-D FA 24-70mm f/2.8ED SDM WR Lens, this UV protector improves outdoor shooting by absorbing harmful ultraviolet light that can produce hazy, low-contrast images—especially at high altitudes, by the ocean, or in snowy environments. By cutting the bluish cast of daylight, it helps your photos show more natural tones and clearer detail in a variety of lighting conditions.

The filter is optically neutral and crystal clear with a 1x filter factor (+0 stop), so it does not change exposure, contrast, or color balance; image sharpness, fine detail, and true color rendition are preserved. Designed for everyday use, it serves as a permanent safeguard against scratches, dust, dirt, water spots, fingerprints, and accidental contact with the front element.

It also provides additional protection from bumps, drops, and abrasions, helping extend the lifespan of your lens.
