The Godox V1 S Flash for Sony (US) combines a distinctive round-head design with 76Ws of output to deliver smooth, flattering illumination with gentle falloff. It supports Sony ADI / P-TTL metering and the head rotates 330° and tilts from -7° to 120°; the magnetic bezel lets you attach Godox accessory modifiers instantly. Power comes from a removable 2600mAh lithium-ion battery that yields up to 480 full-power flashes per charge and allows a full-power recycle time of just 1.5 seconds. The V1 supports High Speed Sync up to 1/8000 sec and both front- and rear-curtain sync for creative shutter control. For wireless control the unit has an optical receiver plus a built-in 2.4 GHz radio receiver that accepts commands from Godox X System transmitters; the X System can manage up to four wireless groups in a transmitter/receiver setup, and settings adjusted on the V1 are mirrored to other synced flashes. Additional conveniences include an AF assist lamp, a 3200K LED modeling lamp, and a 2.5mm port for wired triggering.
