Digital Nc Camera Accessories, Black, SKU sku-17713022587, UPC 743627201626. This UV protector is made for the Canon EF 24-105mm f/4L IS II USM. It absorbs ultraviolet light that can cause haze and a bluish daylight cast, particularly at high elevations, by the ocean or in snow.

The filter is described as optically neutral, with a 1x filter factor (+0 stop), so it does not change exposure, contrast or color balance while helping preserve sharpness and detail. It can stay on the lens during everyday use to shield the front element from scratches, dust, dirt, water spots, fingerprints and contact. It also adds protection against bumps, drops and abrasions.
