Digital Nc Camera Accessories sku-17773860397 UV Filter

Digital Nc lists this Black UV filter under Camera Accessories as sku-17773860397, UPC 743627200728. It is made to fit the Nikon AF-S NIKKOR 35mm f/1.8G ED. The filter absorbs ultraviolet light that can cause haze and low contrast, particularly at high altitudes, near the ocean or in snow. It reduces daylight's bluish cast to help preserve natural tones and clarity. Its clear, optically neutral construction has a 1x filter factor (+0 stop), so it does not alter exposure, contrast or color balance and retains image sharpness, detail and color accuracy. Left on the lens, it provides a barrier against scratches, dust, dirt, water spots, fingerprints and accidental contact, with added protection against drops, bumps and abrasions.
