Digital Nc Camera Accessories UV Filter sku-17756865048

The Digital Nc Black UV protection filter fits the Sigma 18-200mm f/3.5-6.3 DC K. It reduces ultraviolet light that can cause haze and low contrast, particularly at high elevations, near the coast and in snow. It also cuts the bluish cast seen in daylight for more natural tones and clearer outdoor images.

Its optically neutral design has a 1x filter factor (+0 stop), so it does not change exposure, contrast or color balance, or reduce sharpness and detail. The filter can stay on the lens to protect the front element from scratches, dust, dirt, water spots, fingerprints and accidental contact. It also offers some protection from bumps, drops and abrasions.
