Digital Nc Camera Accessories UV Filter sku-17690266629

Digital Nc's Black UV filter fits the Canon EF-S 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 III lens. Listed under Camera Accessories, it has SKU sku-17690266629 and UPC 743627201893. It reduces ultraviolet light that can cause hazy, low-contrast images, particularly at high elevations, near the sea or in snow.

The clear, optically neutral glass has a 1x filter factor (+0 stop), so it does not change exposure, contrast or color balance. It is intended to retain sharpness, fine detail and accurate color while reducing UV and a bluish daylight cast. Left on the lens, it helps protect the front element from scratches, dust, dirt, water spots, fingerprints, accidental contact, drops, bumps and abrasions.
