Overview: The Tripp Lite RV3012OEM PowerVerter is a quiet, fuel-free alternative to portable generators for RV and mobile applications. It converts 12 V DC battery power to 120 V AC and filters utility- or generator-supplied AC through built-in ISOBAR surge protection. Use it as an extended-run UPS, a standalone inverter source, or a rugged automotive/RV inverter with automatic line-to-battery transfer and an integrated charging system. Performance and power features: - Continuous AC output: 3000 W from any 12 V DC battery or automotive DC source. - Peak performance: 6000 W peak power load capability. - OverPower™: temporarily supplies up to 150% of continuous output for 1–60 minutes to handle heavier loads. - DoubleBoost™: provides up to 200% of continuous output for up to 10 seconds for cold-starting motors and heavy-duty tools. - Waveform: pulse-width modulated sine wave. - Maximum frequency: 60 Hz. Charging and AC input behavior: When hardwire AC input is present, the unit passes commercial AC through to connected equipment while recharging the battery bank using a 3-stage selectable charger (35/140 A).
