TrueDepth enables facial recognition. The phone has a built-in rechargeable lithium-ion battery and an included USB-C Charge Cable that is compatible with AirPods Pro (2nd generation) with MagSafe Charging Case (USB-C).

Battery life varies with network configuration, use and settings. Recharge cycles are limited, and the battery may eventually need replacement. See apple.com/batteries and apple.com/iphone/battery.html for more information. The phone was tested for splash, water and dust resistance under IEC standard 60529, with an IP68 rating at a maximum depth of 6 meters for up to 30 minutes.

Resistance can decrease with wear. Do not charge a wet phone; consult the user guide for cleaning and drying. Liquid damage is not covered under warranty. Total Wireless offers no-contract plans. On the Base 5G plan, data may slow during traffic congestion. Video streams at up to 480p on Base and Total 5G plans or 720p on 5G+ plans.

5G requires a capable device and service area; 5G Ultra Wideband is included with Total 5G Unlimited and Total 5G+ Unlimited. The price guarantee lasts 5 years for new subscribers and applies to the then-current tax-inclusive monthly plan rate. It excludes transactional, one-time and equipment charges, promotions, add-ons, features and discounts, including Auto Pay.

It may end if service lapses, is suspended or terminated, or moves to an ineligible plan. Taxes and fees are included.
