ParaSonic pairs maple and birch to vary tone by drum: the thicker rack tom shells produce a brighter tone, more attack and shorter sustain, while thinner floor tom shells produce a deeper tone and longer sustain.

The series uses North American sugar maple and birch. Drums from 8" to 12" have 2-ply maple and 4-ply birch, 6.2mm shells; drums from 14" to 22" have 6-ply maple, 4.8mm shells. The 20" bass drum has a 6-ply, 4.8mm shell and a 6-ply maple SoundRing at the bearing edge. The listing also specifies EFS shell technology, ParaSonic lugs, a pocket hinge bracket and an articulated claw hook.

The maker cites close to 40 years of drum manufacturing experience.
