Mapex LTAR628SFUTI-S Armory Drum Sets sku-18461653748

The Mapex Armory Studioease Drum Sets shell pack, model LTAR628SFUTI-S, is a 6-piece kit in Tanzanite Burst with fast toms, a 22" bass drum and Sabian B8X cymbals. Its birch-and-maple hybrid shells combine a maple interior for body and warmth with a birch exterior for clarity, projection and attack.

The shells respond to ghost notes and accents, while SONIClear bearing edges help the heads sit evenly for easier tuning, an open tone and sustain. The Studioease layout has a compact footprint and includes two mounted toms, sized 10x7" and 12x8", two floor toms, sized 14x12" and 16x14", and an Armory Tomahawk steel snare; the source lists the snare size as 14x5 5".

The bass drum is 22x18", and SONIClear floor tom legs and mounting hardware are included. Chrome fittings, heavy-duty lugs and steel floor tom support legs help keep the kit stable and in tune through regular use. It is intended for rehearsal, recording and live shows.
