This 16/2 shielded alarm and security cable comes in a 500 ft run with 100% solid bare copper conductors, 16 AWG, and an aluminum foil shield that reduces electromagnetic interference and signal distortion.
It is suitable for fire protective signaling circuits, smoke detectors, strobes and sirens, pull stations, voice communications, burglar alarms, audio and control systems, initiating and notification circuits, and microprocessor or addressable systems.
Rated FPLP/CL3P/FT6/CMP for plenum and air-handling spaces, it is also UV resistant, RoHS compliant and listed by UL and/or ETL for indoor or outdoor use. Its round jacket has rounded edges for pulling around tight bends and an integrated rip cord for jacket removal. The CMP rating provides greater protection than CMR or CM cable.
