Worm Care: European Nightcrawlers may lose some weight in shipping because they are shipped in dry bedding. Remove the worms from the bag they are shipped in and transfer them into a new container with fresh bedding; they will gain their weight back in 2 - 4 days. The worms are shipped in enough bedding for shipping, not enough to live in. Store the live Red Worms at 38-78 degrees. They can also be refrigerated.Bedding: Use chemical free peat moss, shredded paper, and water. Add enough water until a few drops of water drip when you squeeze it. Their bedding material also serves as their food source. You can feed them worm chow, or table scraps.Shipping: Orders are shipped Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays with UPS Overnight. Orders placed after 12:00 PM Central Standard time will be shipped the following shipping day. If weather conditions are hot (75 degrees or higher or cold 40 degrees or less) we may not ship.
