Package Contents: Sony G Master FE 28-70mm f/2 GM lens (Sony E, model SEL2870GM), 3-piece 86mm filter kit, camera cleaning kit, and lens cap keeper. Constant f/2 Brightness: This FE 28–70mm GM maintains a constant f/2 maximum aperture throughout its zoom range, offering strong low-light capability and pronounced subject separation.

It covers wide-angle through short telephoto focal lengths, making it a versatile alternative to multiple prime lenses for landscape, architecture, portrait, and wedding work. Advanced G Master Optics: Optical construction includes XA, Super ED, aspherical, and ED elements to control aberrations and deliver high resolution and smooth rendering.

Nano AR Coating II minimizes flare and ghosting for improved contrast, while the 11-blade rounded diaphragm helps produce pleasing circular bokeh. Hybrid Photo/Video Design: Four XD linear motors drive fast, quiet, and accurate autofocus suitable for stills and motion. The lens supports continuous shooting up to 120 fps and high-speed video capture at 240 fps.

It also incorporates reduced focus breathing, a manual de-clickable aperture ring, and adjustable zoom torque to meet the needs of hybrid shooters. Durable, Everyday Build: Despite its bright aperture, the lens is built to be lightweight and rugged for regular use. Weather-sealed construction resists dust and moisture, and the front element has a fluorine coating to repel water and fingerprints.

The supplied hood features a locking button and a filter window for convenient adjustments when using polarizers or NDs.
