The 4340 chrome-moly steel bar is described as 200 percent stronger than standard 1020 stainless steel and 92 percent stronger than 4130 chrome-moly. It has a high strength-to-weight ratio, tensile strength and impact resistance for high torque on rough terrain.
Heavy-gauge neoprene CV-joint boots resist punctures, abrasion, oil and grease and offer more flexibility and environmental protection than thermoplastic boots. The axle is recommended for intense mud riding. Its induction heat-treated bearings reduce friction and increase CV-joint strength and durability, while high-temperature, high-load-bearing moly grease is packed into the boot.
The dynamic drive angle exceeds 40 degrees. Manufactured under ISO/TS 16949 and ISO 9001 quality standards, it arrives fully assembled with inboard and outboard universal CV joints. UPC: 469455219090.
