Sixity Axles XTA rear left axle, sku-5036348117, UPC 463128377681, is listed as compatible with the Arctic Cat 300 2X4 from 1998-2001. Its 4340 chrome-moly steel bar is described as 200 percent stronger than standard 1020 stainless steel and 92 percent stronger than 4130 chrome-moly, with a high strength-to-weight ratio, tensile strength and impact resistance for high torque and rough terrain.

The chrome-moly alloy contains chromium and molybdenum; chromium is described as the hardest metal on the Mohs scale. The heavy-gauge neoprene CV boots are described as harder to puncture than rubber and more flexible than thermoplastic boots, with abrasion and oil/grease resistance, environmental protection and longer wear life.
