This sale is for the hard drive circuit board (PCB / logic board) only — the drive itself is not included. Because we stock a large number of PCBs, the item you receive may differ slightly from the photo. Intended use: data recovery and hard drive repair. Important: many hard drive PCBs store unique information in the ROM memory chip; that data is required for the drive to operate properly. You must either transfer the ROM chip or copy its contents onto the replacement PCB. If the ROM chip can be physically moved, a local computer technician can typically perform the transplant.
