This listing is for the hard drive circuit board (PCB / logic board) ONLY — no hard drive included. Because we have a large stock of PCBs, the exact board you receive may differ slightly from the photo. Designed for hard drive repair and data-recovery use. Many Seagate PCBs hold unique configuration data in the ROM "memory" chip; that ROM information is required for the drive to function correctly. You must transfer the ROM chip, or its data, to the replacement board. If physical chip transfer is possible, a local computer technician can usually perform the procedure.
