Sale includes only the hard drive circuit board (PCB / logic board). No hard drive or other components are included. Because we carry a large inventory of PCBs, the exact board you receive may differ slightly from the image shown. This PCB is intended for hard drive repair and data recovery work. Before purchasing, confirm that a replacement board will solve your issue by following our hard drive diagnostics guide and checking compatibility with the Donor Matching Guide. Most Seagate PCBs store drive-specific data in a ROM (memory) chip; that information is required for correct operation. Either transplanting the ROM chip to the replacement board or reprogramming the new PCB with the original ROM data is necessary. If the ROM chip can be moved, a local computer technician can usually perform the transfer.
