This sale is for the hard drive printed circuit board (PCB / logic board) ONLY — the drive itself is not included. Because we stock a large quantity of boards, the exact PCB you receive may vary slightly from the photo. Intended use: HDD repair and data recovery. Before purchasing, confirm a replacement PCB will resolve your issue by following our hard drive diagnostics guide and verifying compatibility with the Donor Matching Guide. Important: most PCBs contain unique information stored in a ROM "memory" chip that is required for correct drive operation. The ROM chip or its data must be transferred to the replacement board. If the chip can be relocated, a local computer technician can usually perform the transplant. For customers spending $60 or more, we provide complimentary adaptation service, which includes either moving the ROM chip to the new PCB or reprogramming the replacement board with the correct ROM data.
