This listing is for the hard drive circuit board (PCB / logic board) ONLY — no hard drive is included. Because we maintain a large inventory, the exact PCB you receive may differ slightly from the photo. This PCB is supplied for use in hard drive repair and data recovery. Many Seagate PCBs store unique parameters in a ROM (memory) chip; that ROM data is required for correct drive operation. The ROM chip itself, or its data, must be transferred to the replacement board. If the ROM can be physically moved, a local computer repair technician can usually perform the transplant.
