This sale is for the hard drive circuit board (PCB / logic board) ONLY — the hard drive is not included. Because we maintain a large inventory of PCBs, the exact board you receive may differ slightly from the photo. This Seagate SATA 3.5 PCB is intended for HDD repair or data recovery work. Before ordering, confirm that a replacement PCB is the correct fix by following our hard drive diagnostics guide and verify part compatibility using the Donor Matching Guide. Note: most hard drive PCBs contain unique data stored in a ROM "memory" chip; that ROM information is required for proper drive operation. The ROM chip or its data must be transferred to the replacement board (or the new board must be reprogrammed) to restore full functionality. If the ROM chip can be physically moved, a local computer repair technician can usually perform that task.
