This sale is for the hard drive circuit board (PCB / logic board) ONLY — no hard drive is included. Due to our large stock, the actual PCB shipped may vary slightly from the photo. This PCB is intended for use in data recovery and hard drive repair. To ensure a replacement board will fix your drive, please use our hard drive diagnostics guide and verify compatibility with the Donor Matching Guide. Many hard drive PCBs contain unique configuration data stored in a ROM memory chip; that data is required for correct drive operation. The ROM chip or its contents must be transferred to the replacement board. If you cannot perform the transfer yourself, a local computer technician can typically handle the task. For purchases of $60 or more we provide a complimentary adaptation service — either transplanting the ROM chip onto the new PCB or reprogramming the replacement board with the correct ROM data.
