This sale is for a hard drive circuit board (PCB / logic board) ONLY — no hard drive is included. Because we stock many PCBs, the exact board you receive may differ slightly from the photo. Intended use: data recovery or HDD repair. To confirm a replacement PCB will resolve your problem, follow our hard drive diagnostics guide and verify compatibility using the Donor Matching Guide. Most hard drive PCBs hold unique configuration data in a ROM memory chip; that information is required for correct drive operation. The ROM chip or its data must be moved or reprogrammed onto the replacement board. If the ROM chip can be physically transferred, a local computer technician can typically perform that task. For purchases of $60 or more we provide a complimentary adaptation service that includes either transplanting the ROM chip to the new PCB or reprogramming the board with the correct ROM data.
