This sale is for the hard drive circuit board (PCB / logic board) ONLY — no hard drive is included. The PCB you receive may vary slightly from the photo due to our large inventory. Compatible with Seagate ST3000VN000 (1H4167-505, SC43, 3164 F, REV B) SATA 3.5 drives and intended for drive repair or data recovery use. Many hard drive PCBs contain unique information stored in a ROM "memory" chip; that data is required for proper drive operation. The ROM chip or its contents must be moved or reprogrammed onto the replacement board. If physical chip transfer is possible, a local computer technician can usually perform the task.
