This listing is for the hard drive circuit board only (PCB / logic board). No hard drive or other components are included. Because we stock a large number of these PCBs, the exact board you receive may differ slightly from the photo. Intended use: data recovery and hard drive repair. Important: most Seagate 2.5" PCBs include unique information stored in a ROM ("memory") chip that is required for the drive to function. That ROM data must be transferred to the replacement board or the ROM chip physically moved to the new PCB. If you cannot perform this yourself, a local computer technician can usually transplant the chip.
