This sale includes the hard drive circuit board (PCB / logic board) only — the hard drive itself is NOT included. Because we stock a large number of PCBs, the exact board you receive may differ slightly from the photo. Intended use: HDD repair or data recovery. Before purchasing, confirm that a replacement PCB will resolve your problem by following our hard drive diagnostics guide, and verify compatibility using the Donor Matching Guide. Note: most drive PCBs hold unique data in a ROM ("memory") chip that is required for the drive to function correctly. The ROM chip, or its contents, must be moved to or programmed onto the replacement board. If physical transfer of the chip is possible, a local technician can typically perform the swap. For customers spending $60 or more, we provide a complimentary adaptation service that includes either transplanting the ROM chip onto the new PCB or reprogramming the replacement board with the correct ROM data.
